Why taking action creates success

Updated: May 20

If the opposite of action is inaction...think what is it costing you? What benefits can you be skimping out on? Great leaders take action and create their roadmap. What do you think?

“I remember as a young naïve girl having grown up in a humble modest home in my Island of Puerto Rico, coming to the United States was a huge bold step. I was fearful, did not know anyone and I had to step out of my comfort zone to meet people and try to find a job. I remember my first ever job in the US at 18 years old working in an assembly line style jewelry warehouse making minimum wage. I knew in my heart there had to be more and this would be temporary but I didn't know where to start. Someone recommended temp agencies to me. I was so afraid and shy but knew if I wanted change, I had to do what I needed to do and that's where my story began. By taking what seemed such a huge step, I found the confidence that I needed and that little but huge step helped me soar. Little by little, I let go of my fear and made myself continue to stretch and develop and get uncomfortable. All this has opened so many doors and opportunities where once I saw none. Lessons I have learned but no lesson has been taken for granted and I would not change anything because all of my life's lessons have helped me evolve into who I am today. Yes, I still have fear, this is common and natural. It's the minds way of shielding us and protecting us but I have learned to conquer that fear"
